Location

Silver Willow Sporting Clays,
30133 Range Rd 20, Mountain View County, Alberta T0M 0N0

Geared for those desiring a solid foundation to heighten their skills on clays and game. On a practical level you’ll learn to adapt your foot work for the shot, and set your posture to achieve perfect balance while moving in time with the bird. You’ll learn how to apply your vision to first detect the bird and then finish the shot. Learning how to learn is a skill in itself, and you’ll come away with a much better understanding of how to set up your own practice sessions to heighten your personal development. These are full days with a mix of classroom and clays, enabling you to apply the concepts discussed immediately after on clays.

This one day course is perfect for those that have shot for awhile but would like to take that next step to become a better shot. A sound and reliable foundation is key to becoming a better gun, and for developing confidence in the field and clay ground!

Skill-based learning requires practice and you’ll come away with an understanding of how to design your own practice sessions to progress further.

You can expect to shoot 100-200 rounds - bring your own ammo (available on site).

Dress for the weather and bring both ear and eye protection, as well as a range bag or similar to carry your ammo, etc.

Registration fee - $265 per person, plus target fees.
